Collection: Evans Snare Wire

Browse the PureSound Custom Series snare wires listed in our Evans Snare Wire collection at GarageBand Music. Choose from configurations for 8-, 10-, 12-, 13-, and 14-inch snare drums, with strand counts varying by size.

These replacement wires use medium-gauge steel coils with even spacing. Compare 12-, 16-, 20-, and 24-strand options: more strands tend to emphasize the snare-wire component of the sound, while fewer strands let more of the drum’s tone come through. Check each product’s exact drum size and strand count, then confirm compatibility with your snare drum and mounting system before ordering.
