GarageBand Music was launced from a want to provide high quality musical instruments at a reasonable price and provide a place for the community to experience music.

Mike Brashaw started GarageBand Music in 2009 selling accessories and instruments online to get his feet wet.

After a few years selling online he opened a store in Historic Downtown Utica, Michigan in 2011. The first month there were only 5 guitars and few accessories on the wall.

Going on their 10th year at their Downtown Utica location, Mike has launched numerous online e-commerce sites for GarageBand Music.

GarageBand Music has gone on to win numerous awards from channel 4 and has been recognized as a NAMM top 100 dealer 8 times.
